Special sessions and events
For over ten years, we've delivered workshops, masterclasses, and other bespoke sessions to expand on our therapy and classes. On this page you can find information around items in our calendar that sit outside of regular weekly classes. This includes upcoming workshops, but also monthly events like our new Restorative Yoga and Deep Relaxation session which takes place once a month.

Just to let you know, for workshops our event cancellation policy is pretty simple. We're happy to provide a full refund for your booking if we receive the cancellation request more than seven days in advance.
FIRST FRIDAY EVERY MONTH - 7.30PM - ONLINE

Online Restorative Yoga
and

Deep Relaxation Session
/ Relaxation


This monthly online Restorative Yoga and Deep Relaxation class is a sublimely relaxing session that brings balance and calm to help ease stress and anxiety.

You'll be guided and encouraged to relax fully and breathe into the restorative postures, while being supported by bolsters and blocks (or pillows and cushions). It not only feels heavenly, but gives permission for muscles to soften and relax, increasing flexibility without strain. This supports the healing of physical and emotional stress and stress-related issues.

These online sessions are particularly beneficial for people with fibromyalgia, CFS, sleep issues, anxiety and heightened nervous systems, but are also great for anyone who does too much (which, let's be honest is pretty much all of us!)

The online session is held monthly, on the first Friday of every month. To take part you can either book yourself on using our online class booking system (like you can all of our other classes) or just get in contact with us and we'll enrol you.

Women's Wellbeing Workshop
Rest and Restore


We'll soon be releasing a date in for this great workshop Spring for this great workshop.

Feel tension melt away as Sarah Dover-McCarthy (Clinical Exercise Specialist) and Nalini Deane (Yoga and Womens Wellbeing Specialist) combine their skills to offer you a unique workshop to help release physical and mental stress, and ease into a soft calming space. This gentle workshop is designed for all women of all ages to help with stress, anxiety, busy minds and stiff muscles, or who simply want an afternoon of great self-care.

The three hours includes:
  • After a short relaxation, Sarah will guide you through a series of muscle release techniques, mobility exercises and deep slow stretches to help ease physical tension in the body – guaranteed to leave you loosened up and smiling!
  • Nalini will guide a gorgeously relaxing restorative yoga session where the support of bolsters, blankets and pillows will ease you into letting go a little deeper.
  • Finishing with a long guided visualisation and relaxation session led by Nalini.
We'll be holding this workshop at our Denne Parade studio, and is suitable for anyone wanting to take a little time out for themselves to nurture the body and mind. We welcome teenagers and above, but may not be suitable to people with acute pain or movement impairments. Please therefore contact us if you would like to discuss suitability.
