Total Therapy Studios is a multi-disciplined clinical therapy centre specialising in Physical Therapy and Movement Health. Our core aim is to provide our clients holistic and integrated approach to pain management, prevention, rehabilitation, movement health and wellbeing. We have two sites in central Horsham, West Sussex, which include two exercise studios, a Pilates Equipment suite and six therapy rooms in total. As we expand, we're looking for both clinical practitioners and front of house staff with exemplary customer service skills customer service to join our team.

Receptionists /
Front of House

With our continuing expansion we’re recruiting for someone to join us in a operations support role. This is more than a receptionist role, as while our team are responsible for assisting clients in their journey they are also responsible for maintaining the premises and creating the environment, along with a huge focus on customer service. Currently we're looking for someone to work around 22-26 hours a week in either of our two premises in the centre of Horsham, and look forward to welcoming you into our dynamic, fun and friendly team.

Please note that we have recently changed some of the criteria for the role, hence previous applicants regrettably need not apply.

Roles and responsibilities include:
  • Meeting and greeting clients who arrive at our premises, and booking appointments and classes, either on the phone/email, or in person.
  • Taking payments for appointments and classes.
  • Maintaining a great clean, tidy and friendly environment for our clients.
  • Admin support for our therapists, instructors and management.
It's vital that applicants have recent experience of working with the public, preferably in a healthcare, clinical, or fitness settting. We're looking for someone who understands that customer service is the biggest priority, along with a confidence around using computerised systems as our processes are all software based.

Due to the nature of the business (evenings and weekends) there'll be a varied shift pattern both in terms of hours worked, and number of hours a week, although as a rough guide we're looking for around 22-26 hours a week. Hours will be set on a standard weekly rota, although some flexiblity around holiday cover etc is requested. We're keen to be as flexible as we can to accommodate the right applicant. Therapists / Instructors

As our client base grows, we're looking for a number of physical therapists to join our team. We're currently keen to speak to:
  • Chartered Physiotherapists
  • Sports Therapists
  • Sports rehabilitators
  • Remedial/Sports Massage Therapists
  • Pilates Instructors
Our current team of highly-skilled multidisciplinary therapists and movement health practitioners all work together to provide a holistic approach to pain management, prevention, rehabilitation, movement health and wellbeing. Therefore working together as a team is a key requirement for the right fit.

Specific qualification requirements:
  • Physiotherapists, Sports Therapists and Sports Rehabilitators are to be qualified to degree level in Physiotherapy / Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy / Sports Therapy / Sports Rehabilitation and be eligible for registration with the HPC, SST, BASRaT, or the CNHC.
  • For clinical or Sports Massage Therapists, you must be qualified to Level 5 or above and eligible for registration with the CNHC.
  • Experience in working in private practice is required.
  • For Physiotherapists, BUPA and PPP registration would be desirable but not essential.
  • A Medical Acupuncture qualification would also be desirable.
  • Pilates or Pilates Equipment Training would also be desirable but not essential.
  • For Pilates instructors, a focus on clinical Pilates is most preferred.
  • Equivalent qualification in Sports Therapy and Massage Therapy will be considered based on experience and CPD qualifications.
The ideal candidate will also have an interest in expanding their activities into supporting clinical exercise classes at Total Therapy Studios, and we'll consider offering external and in-house training for the right candidate to support this.

Available hours are flexible, however we're looking for someone who's able to offer two or more shifts at a similar time (to support patient continuity), along with an additional evening and some Saturdays on a rota system. Any post will be on a self-employed basis and clinical treatment time being reimbursed via a fee-split basis.
